There is much to do in the Colombian coast, here is a “short” 8-9 day Colombian Caribbean Itinerary which includes: Cartagena, Santa Marta and the Tayrona. You can adjust the itinerary according to how many days you can allocate to the caribbean coast. I must say I personally skipped Taganga because of time constraints but I’ve added it here since it’s a nice place to visit if you have the time. Another suggestion is to visit the town of Palomino, just north of Santa Marta in the Guajira department of Colombia; the beach here is stunning and you can also do tubing down the Palomino River! I hope you find this guide useful! Travel day: Arrive to Cartagena Airport. From here you can take a taxi to the city center, all you have to do is follow the taxi signs and make the queue at the ticket counter, once you arrive at the window let them know the name of the neighborhood you are going to and they will print you a receipt for how much the taxi should charge you (if you use taxis in Cartagena always ask for the price before getting in!) take this day to relax […]
2 Week Trip to Peru
Here is the itinerary of my 2 week trip to Peru, in case you’re planning a trip soon! When I plan a trip I like to look at different itineraries online and recommendations, to put together the perfect trip for me. In 2 weeks you will be able to visit different regions of Peru, although of course you will always feel like you needed more time to travel and explore (like with all trips), and even more so in a country so rich in archeological sites and amazing landscapes.
The Grand Canyon [El Cañon de Colorado]
I have been twice to the Grand Canyon and it never ceases to amaze me. I found it even more impressive the second time. It’s a place in which you feel tiny, a place “outside” of this world – literally since you feel like you’re on Mars or another planet – and makes you realize just how huge the Earth is.
Hello Việt Nam! [ ¡Hola Việt Nam! ]
We arrived in Hanoi in the afternoon very tired and without our luggage, but ready for a new adventure. Once at the hotel, the first thing we asked was where we could eat some Phở, one of the most traditional plates in Vietnam, and this is how we began our trip throughout this Asian country.
Hiking La Rhune in the Pyrenees [ Montando La Rhune en los Pirineos]
One of my favorite pastimes and that of many people in the Southeast region of France is hiking in the mountains. A couple of weeks ago, we decided to hike La Rhune, a summit from which you can see the Atlantic Ocean and cities like: Saint Jean De Luz and Hendaye on the French side, and Hondarribia in the Spanish side.
